About Me

My family comes from a generation of creative people starting with both my grandfathers on both sides. My mother's father Carmelo is a jack of all trades; he paints, works as an electrician, carpenter, welder, upholster, masonry and an eye for collecting antiques. My father's father, Roberto is fond of classic films & photography. Since, both grandfathers’ were born with creative abilities it was natural that their talent was passed down to their own children. Prior to my dad's passing, his area of expertise was wood craft, he meticulously sculpted 3D figurines which he called "monitos" [Spanish term for character, small in size] they were constructed of household readymade materials & various mediums. His inspiration came from classic cartoon characters up to present day sport figures. My mother's talent is inside the house, she enjoys painting, Interior Design and making porcelain dolls. My mom also collects porcelain dolls and such exclusives Barbie’s such as, Bob Mackie designs. Therefore, it was only natural that I became intrigued and inclined in my parents crafts so I started to formulate my own ideas.
